The 40th Semicon Japan was successfully held from December 14 to December 16, 2016 at a renowned international exhibition center in Tokyo, Japan. TanKeBlue and its Japanese agent MTK jointly participated in this exhibition. They displayed the latest 6-inch conductive SiC ingots, chips, and 4-inch semi insulating wafer products developed by TanKeBlue. Mr. Liu Wei, Chairman of Board of Directors of TanKeBlue, and Mr. Yang Jian, General Manager, were invited to attend the exhibition.

Hosted by Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), Semicon Japan is the largest semiconductor equipment and materials exhibition in Japan and also an internationally influential comprehensive exhibition of the semiconductor industry, which is held once a year. Major semiconductor equipment and material manufacturers from Japan and South Korea attended this exhibition, including well-known Japanese semiconductor materials and equipment companies such as Hitachi Chemical, Sumitomo Chemical, AsahiKASEI, Toray, Showa Electric, JSR, Disco, Tokyo Electronics, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, as well as semiconductor testing equipment manufacturers such as Lasertec.

During the exhibition, Chairman Liu Wei and General Manager Yang Jian had extensive and in-depth exchanges with customers and equipment suppliers of TanKeBlue, grasping the development status and market size of the SiC industry in Japan. Meanwhile, they also conducted related investigation and research on other hot new materials such as sapphire and lithium tantalate.
