Founded in September 2006, Beijing TanKeBlue Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TanKeBlue”) is headquartered in Daxing District, Beijing. It is one of the first national high-tech enterprises engaging in R&D, production and sales of the third-generation semiconductor SiC monocrystalline substrates and related products in China. It is also a supplier of SiC substrates with a large production scale and a wide range of product types in the field of SiC substrates. In 2021, it was recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a specialized and sophisticated Little-Giant Enterprise producing new and unique products.
The company has strong technical R&D strength. After nearly 20 years of highly effective independent R&D accumulation, the company has formed seven key core technics systems with independent intellectual property rights covering the entire production process of SiC materials, including SiC monocrystalline growth furnace manufacturing, raw material synthesis, crystal growth, crystal processing, wafer processing, cleaning and testing, and Epi- wafer manufacturing.
At present, the company has a R&D center, four wholly-owned subsidiaries, and one holding subsidiary, covering industries such as SiC monocrystalline furnace manufacturing, SiC substrate manufacturing, and SiC Epi-wafer manufacturing. The company has established a SiC single crystal growth furnace manufacturing base in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, and two complete SiC substrate manufacturing sites in Daxing District, Beijing and Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province respectively. Meanwhile, SiC Substrate and Epi-wafer Manufacturing Site Project, a provincial-level key project invested and built by Shenzhen MITK SEMI, a holding subsidiary, has been completed and put into operation in mid-2023. It has initially formed an industrial layout based on the three core advantageous areas of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to radiate and drive the whole country.
TanKeBlue has always adhered to the path of quality-oriented and striving for excellence, and has been committed to the production and R&D of large-sized and high-quality SiC materials. It strives to build the company into a major global SiC substrate supplier with its independent intellectual property rights and well-known brand effects, and contributes its own strength to the implementation of China’s “dual carbon” strategy and the development of the third-generation semiconductor industry
